When I Grow Up….

I remember being a little kid dreaming of being grown up and all the amazing things I could do; having so much freedom (HA!), planning my lavish wedding, and of course, what I would be. It sticks out to me that we never talked about careers or jobs as a separate entity, it was our very selves. What would we BE, not what would we do.

I had many aspirations, from teacher to ballet dancer to astronaut. I’m still not 100% sure of what I want to be when I grow up, but I’m definitely not a kid anymore so I asked my 6-year-old for her perspective on the future.
