Family Movie Night Favourites #StreamTeam

Family movie nights are a well established tradition in our house. Luckily, our children typically agree on a movie with minimal arguments, and more often than not, the adults enjoy their choice as well! We love how many different options Netflix has for us to choose from, and thought I’d share some of our favourites with you all: 

1. Meet the Robinsons – This is one of my favourite animated movies of all time, and as my oldest has started school and become more concerned about making mistakes in front of her peers, the lessons on failure and success in this movie have provided me with great talking points, and her with age appropriate examples that she can relate to and learn from. 

2. The Muppets – The latest Muppets movie is one that is just as enjoyable for the parents as it is for the kids – if not more! I won’t spoil the surprise if you haven’t seen the movie yet, but suffice to say, they have the BEST actor cameo in this one.

3. The Princess and the Frog – Our family is a music loving, dancing crazy bunch and this movie’s soundtrack doesn’t disappoint. Set in New Orleans, the jazzy songs get us all on our feet! 

4. The Aristocats – An oldie but a goodie, this movie was one of my oldest daughter’s first favourites. Again, the fantastic soundtrack sets it apart, and “Scales & Arpeggios” has been sung on repeat from day 1!

Don’t mind the poor quality (in video AND vocals), this was filmed about 4 years ago, long before iPhone’s got so fancy.
